Fraternity of Fatties, Part 1
Prologue I was a bit reticent as I headed off to University a few years ago as I'd packed on many a pound my senior year in high school jumping from 180 to 240 and was curious how a fatty like me would be received by coed girls and any fraternity I might want to rush on campus. I'd always been a big boy, particularly in elementary school when I was hands down the fattest kid in class from kindergarten through sixth grade, and experienced constant teasing and taunting, "Fatty Fatty Two by Four" and "Two Ton Tommy" being some of the more common epithets lobbed my way. To top it all off I was lousy at sports and annually failed to meet even the minimum standards in the President's Physical Fitness Test -- zero pull-ups, maybe a handful of sit-ups, last in the sprint event, last in the shuttle run, you name it I sucked at it. By seventh grade, I was 5'2', weighed 150 pounds, and my mom still bought my clothes in the Husky Boys department, but by eighth grade I added six inches in

The drive took the two to a more out-of-the-way town that Jason had never been to before, the kind of place where all the things that there were to do were limited to one small downtown area. The houses were still reasonably close to each other, but rows of trees between them and small areas of forest were common. Marko’s house itself was a fairly small ranch house, and yet, in an area like that, it still afforded him a sizable yard. A yard he didn't seem to be doing much with other than mowing the grass.

“Jason, I needed that latte five minutes ago!” Tina shouted.
With his eyes nearly bulging out of his head, Jason glared at the steamer as if eye contact might make it do its job faster. After having made the mistake of pouring dairy milk in the soy pitcher, and having to take the time to wash that out satisfactorily, he’d already put the entire staff behind several drinks.
